Geschiedenis

Eens in de zoveel tijd gebeurt het: diep binnen de incrowd van de underground verschijnt een werk dat in alle
opzichten unique is. Waaraan je ziet dat het door bijzondere personen is gemaakt. Vorm en inhoud zijn persoonlijk,
niet zakelijk. Het ademt warmte, wil met liefde spreken en kennis doorgeven. Het is wars van trends, kommersie en
formalisme. Het is voor hen die ervan zijn, echt zijn. Het is anders. Het is exclusief, apart. Het bevat de nieuwste
informatie. Open je ogen. Leer en beleef.

Kennis

Perfection komt voor uit liefde. Dit is waarom een geboren identiteit mankeert. Zo is er ook een verschil
tussen enkel kennis van het hart, en het zelf bewandelen van het pad. Iedere artist heeft kennis van het hart,
slechts weinigen bewandelen het pad ook werkelijk en volledig. Wie wel weet maar niet kent, maakt de zaak vaak
belachelijk. Wie liefde kent en bedrijft, spreekt altijd uit passie. Houdt van zowel het hoofd als het hart; kent
de juiste dosis. Want wie het leven begrijpt kan de wereld easy aan.

Magie

Magie verdraagt geen kommersie. Nagebootste magie voor een veelvoud van duizenden is useless. Alleen in
de intimiteit met jezelf openbaart magie zich. De ultieme danser is het individu. De ideale DJ ben je zelf. De vrije
dansvloer bevindt zich in de virtuele wereld. Hoe kun je jezelf vinden tussen vijftig duizend mensen, met in je ene
hand een Red Breezer Bull en in je andere een Marlboro Coke Lite? Imitation is limitation! Leer jezelf kennen,
weet wie je bent. Luister naar je hart.

Licht

Magic Sessions is gemaakt door mensen die - zoals dat literair heet - allen het licht hebben gezien. We See All
is een dance poetry compilation album (want wij geloven in dance) die je inspiratie geeft voordat je gaat slapen, met
lyrics om bij weg te dromen, en dingen om over na te denken. Het laat je in twee en dertig mixen en acht remixen
een reis maken van begin tot eind in twaalfduizend en negen en negentig woorden. Het ontlokt diepe ontroering
bij hen die ervan zijn. Maak ook die reis!

Ons

Wij, de makers van Magic Sessions, zijn een bont internationaal gezelschap van individuen. Een paar zijn
dance prouducer, een ander is creative director. Drie zijn club-dj. Er zitten tekstdichters bij, mensen die in de adult
industry werken. Ikzelf schrijf erotische verhalen en insightful issues voor buitenlandse magazines. Wij hebben
Magic uit passie gemaakt, en zijn blij dat het goed is ontvangen binnen de IATC-community. Nu is aan jou
de keus wat je met deze kennis gaat doen...

Magic Sessions/We See All is een projekt van dance producers en andere
artiesten die de poplyriek nieuw leven willen inblazen. Teksten waren in de
jaren zeventig en tachtig een prominente komponent in de muziek. Hoewel
dance producers de belangrijkste taak van de popmuziek - het uitdragen van
de mystieke boodschap - bleven voortzetten, ging deze meestal verloren
doordat geluid zwaarder woog dan tekst. Met name in de nontekstuele
muziekgenres van de elektronische muziek. Zonder Emily als gids kon je geen
letter van verstaan. Zonde eigenlijk van zoiets prachtigs als het Engels...

De terugkeer van de tekstaksent en zelfs voortgezette expliciete edukatie kwam
met de komst van Deep House en Progressive. Intensieve modulatie en
modificatie van tekst maken echter dat de woorden vooral de niet geoefende
luisteraar ontgaan. De makers van MS/WSA vinden dat de boodschap veel te
mooi is om het alleen aan de elite te gunnen. Het resultaat is een zeldzaam
passioneel en positief werk geworden dat met inachtneming van de bij
mystiek vereiste terughoudendheid heerlijk leesbaar is, zonder de heilige ode
nodeloos te verkwanselen. Eeuwige zonde zou dat zijn, van het Nederlands...

Selina Kyle (bladredakteur van de underground fanzine Cinemalatria, die het
werk ook redigeerde) vroeg aan verscheidene verlichte artiesten en savants -
waarvan sommigen hun sporen ruim verdiend hebben in de department of
dance lyrics - bij te dragen aan wat de 2002-editie van de dance-bijbel moest
worden. En dat hebben zij kordaat gedaan; deze zeemannen, heiden,
prinsessen en godiva's! Opvallend was hoe groot de ego's waren bij deze
artiesten. En hoe enthousiast ze zijn over hun zelfgekozen artiestennamen.
Maar hun prestaties zijn dan ook schitterend! Heeft veejay K. niet een keer
gezegd dat dance producers zo ontzettend geilen op hun ego's en alter-
ego's? Tryst, he... Zo kennen wij iemand die in het afgelopen decennium
onder maar liefst 47 (zeven-en-veertig) artiesten-pseudoniemen de dance-
scene heeft verblijd met zijn tekstuele talenten. Vergeef hem, hij kan niet
anders dan in vreemde tongen spreken. (Hij kent nl. bij bal uit z'n hoofd...)

MS/WSA is een lyrische poezie-album geworden waarvan de teksten ronduit
hemels, soms hels, maar altijd magisch zijn. He! Het is dus geen muziekseedee!
Nee! De makers hebben nu eens niet de muziek, maar de tekst voorop gezet.
En hoe! Je moet het zelf zien om het te geloven. Want zien is lezen.... En zoals
het een goed werk van mystiek behoort te zijn, is de release (op 27 Juli 2002,
gelijktijdig in SF, NYC en ASD; bij ingewijdenen) met mysteries omgeven. De
incrowd had dus de primeur. En nu, een dik jaar later, is het voor iedereen
eindelijk verkrijgbaar... Bij deze dus. Time flies when you're having fun!

Hoe kom je aan MS/WSA? Er zijn geen pers-exemplaren... Je koopt het of
je laat het liggen. Liefde die geen prijs kent heeft immers geen waarde...

finally some t'aime to reply some emails personally.
finally some answers to all your questions! here we go:
1 a little magic is always good in life. sometimes, when miracles
aren't on the menu, magic is even a necessity. hence the expression
"necessary evil". 2 yes, there really, really is one. the one that's neo. oh,
the album can be obtained via sendmycopy@hotmail.com. before you do this,
and to avoid becoming disappointed, you must know that the album is not a music cd,
but solely and strictly a poetry lyrics album presented as a dance music album. it's like the
king britt and his sylk 130 project that was presented as the musical soundtrack
of a motion picture, which in fact didn't exist. so it was an imaginary movie
soundtrack... 3 so magic sessions/we see all has nothing to do with gu
(though we're passionate fans of the gu musical style, and have delivered
and advised lines and lyrics for gu producers on several occasions). the
expression "global underground" is used in its more general meaning,
yet specific enough way to point out our kinda people... 4 if it's not a
MUSICALBUM, what's the value of this MAGICALBUM? well, the value lies
in the USE of it! the album lyrics contain much exciting and mysterious
information regarding things real dance people love doing. things they live
and crave for. by reading and analyzing the "mixes" (a total of 39 mind you,
look up the jcs rock opera!), people who want to know themselves much better
can learn more about it. that's why the album's so successful! so if you expect more
out of life: buy it, read it, get inspired and get it over. if you only want to listen
to quality progressive house music without further contemplating about their
themes and thoughts, you better buy real gu, yo or azuli cd's instead of our
unique real underground MAGICALBUM. 5 who are the cat people? wow...
to grasp full understanding of the true meaning of this question i need more t'aime
to explain... and i don't have it at the moment. suffice it to say the scp is a global
underground movement (there's that word again), re-foundered august 8, 1986
by cs (that is, in its present state, for the ideas itself were developed thousands
of years earlier before), to be a dancer's domain for all aliens living off this earth
who have seek and found enlightment in its most extreme way... no need to
say it's still a strictly secret society... even nowadays. 6 where did i get that
tracklist? why! we, us savants made it! and it's likely you've heard of some of
those producers and dj's by their oh so many other aliases. and yes,
they're good! 7 no, it's not in german, thank dog! there's a mix in
the album called "maid injure many", though. ain't that funny!
but the MAGICALBUM is fully written in broken english, and
is approved by the international committee for preserving
the farsi tongue. we're the iatc-authority, man! 8 so
these were the answers. and now the burden of
choice whether to buy it or not lies on your poor
soldiers. decisions, decisions... 9 vash vamp,
